Author notification (by e-mail): February 4, 2003
Deadline for Technical Digest paper submission: March 11, 2003

As the largest gathering worldwide in this rapidly-expanding field, Transducers '03 is where the latest research results will reach the broadest possible audience. Contributed papers describing the latest scientific and technical results will be supplemented by invited presentations by world experts in the field, and Sunday short courses on important topics of interest. We seek papers describing the latest results in microsensors and microactuators, as well contributions from the newest emerging technology and applications areas, such as nanofabrication processes and materials, and nanoengineered devices for sensing and actuating. New developments in microsystems, ranging from wireless sensor networks to micro fluidic analysis systems, are especially welcome.

In order to encourage publication of the latest important research results, a small number of late news papers will be considered for both oral presentation in regular sessions and inclusion in the conference digest. Late-news oral presentations will be limited to half the length of regular presenations and late-news papers will be limited to two pages in the technical digest.
