This talk shows how governments around the world are trying to embed sustainability and ethical alignment in the policy framework for digital technologies: an endeavour that critically requires dialogue with the innovation community.

A BAYESIAN FRAMEWORK FOR HEALTH MEASUREMENT ACROSS THE LIFESPAN

New devices that measure biophysical and biochemical parameters in time series or continuously are emerging. The MEMS community has developed sensors that are leading to devices suitable for measurement outside of clinical facilities. Many of these devices offer new measurements of health status with high analytical performance. The predictive value, adoption, and individual and epidemiological impact will require a digital system capable of embedding the missing context--individual and geographical priors. This Bayesian architecture will enable multiple innovations for health metrology to yield actionable predictions.
